Modern living in a modern building

Well Street Hall has 132 single occupancy bedrooms. You will have your own mini-fridge, washbasin and of course broadband and wifi.

Your room is centrally heated and fully furnished with plenty of electrical sockets. Bedding is provided and your room will be cleaned weekly. A rather delicious breakfast choice is available every morning.

If you wish to use our kitchens they are equipped with all the things you would expect such as cookers, microwaves, freezers, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

The showers and toilets are shared but very private and are cleaned daily. You will have a large communal area with wifi as well as a TV room so you can unwind at the end of a long day.

The building is managed by on-site residential staff who are available should there be an emergency 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Well Street Hall summer accommodation FAQs

When do I have to pay for my stay?

Rent is paid at least weekly in advance. This can be paid online through your account with us or you can pay by card in person or over the telephone.
For bookings of one week or less, you will be expected to pay the full balance up-front to secure the booking.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No but we ask for a non-refundable payment which is equivalent to a week's rent if you are staying for more than 7 days. If you are staying for less than 7 days, payment is required in full to secure the booking.

Is breakfast provided?

We provide a choice of breakfast options.

Can friends come and stay?

I am afraid that we do not allow overnight guests. If anybody requires a place to sleep for the night, they would have to pay for a room if we have one available.

Who cleans my bedroom?

Cleaners visit your room each week and replace your bed linen as well as clean your room.

Do you have parking?

There is limited car parking at the front of the building and secure parking at the rear of the building. This is only accessible during office hours.

How many people use the kitchens and showers?

Kitchens are available for you to use and are shared by about 12 people. Please remember to keep the kitchen clean and tidy after use. There are sufficient showers for men and women on each floor.

Do you have washing machines?

Yes, we've got 2 coin-operated washing machines and two tumble dryers. You need to use your own washing powder/liquid. The washing machine costs £2.00 and the tumble dryer costs £1 for every 30 minutes worth of drying - £2 should do the trick depending on the size of the load!

What do I need to bring with me?

Not a lot really! We provide all the bedding, towels, plates and cutlery and you'll find the kitchens are well-equipped with everything you might need including microwaves, kettles and toasters. We also have irons and ironing boards.

Can I have a pet in my room?

Sorry, no pets.

What should I do if I have a problem?

The office is open Monday – Friday 7.30am – midnight and 9.00am – midnight at weekends.

Can I apply for a room at both buildings at the same time?

We will only consider your application based on your first choice of building so please only apply for one building.
