You will need to provide your own bedding, and whilst we expect you to keep your room tidy, your room is cleaned fortnightly. There are no phone lines in the rooms, but you’ll find pay phones dotted around the building. There are shared single-sex showers, toilets and washing facilities.

On each floor there are a number of kitchens where you can sit down to eat with your friends. The kitchens are equipped with all the things you would expect, such as cookers, microwaves, fridges, freezers and a food locker for each resident. There's also some space for storing pots and pans, which you need to bring yourself, along with crockery and cutlery.

There's a large shared communal area, which is perfect for relaxing in with your mates. It has a satellite TV, DVD recorder, table tennis and pool tables.

There are a limited number of parking spaces available for residents.

During office hours the building is staffed by Allan and Maureen who manage the halls and maintenance duties are carried out by Vernon. The building is covered outside office hours by subwardens, who are fellow students, so if there is ever an emergency there is always somebody available to help.
