Where is it?
In trendy Hackney, close to Victoria Park, Sir John Cass Hall is an ideal location for easy access to the City of London and Docklands – the area is steeped in history and home to such sights as the Tower of London – which is just 3.5km (2 miles) away. The building is close to trendy Hoxton, with its great night life. The bustling West End (theatres, museums, cinemas, Oxford Street and Covent Garden) is only 4.5km (2.75 miles) away and there is plenty of public transport available nearby. What does it offer?
We have a selection of single rooms. All of our rooms have their own mini-fridge and washbasin and you’ll find the showers and toilets close to your room. We provide you with bed linen, towels and soap. A German style (cheese,ham,croissants,boiled eggs etc) continental breakfast is included in the price, but we also have well-equipped kitchens for you to cook for yourself.
There is a shared lounge, which has satellite TV, a DVD player and a pool table. There's also an on-site launderette. We have a limited amount of car-parking spaces available on a first-come first-served basis.
The building is covered by a wireless, broadband internet system that can be used for basic web browsing and checking your emails. You will need your own PC or laptop with an 802.11g compatible WiFi card installed. How much is it?
Rooms cost £22 per night (£20 per night for students with a NUS or ISIC card) for the first 6 nights. For 7 nights or more, the rate is £16 per night. This includes all taxes and service charges. There are no extra costs.
